We have set up this website as a source of information about West Plano Family Medicine.

Though it certainly does not help me feel any younger, it is especially gratifying to practice family medicine in its truest sense -- providing medical care for literally thousands of families during my professional career. Through the years, I have striven to make patient care and support my top priorities, and in return, I am honored to have been recognized as Plano's top physician in 1994 and runner-up in 1996 (by way of a Plano Star Courier community-wide vote each year). In my 40 years of training and practicing medicine, I have received numerous accolades, and I truly appreciate these types of rewards for my efforts. But when it comes right down to it, the most meaningful recognition is the privilege of practicing family medicine in the truest sense -- after 26 years in practice in Plano, I am now beginning to treat three generations of families, and I appreciate their faith in me, and I appreciate their loyalty and faith in the type of medicine I strive to practice each and every day.

My wife, Karen, and I have been married since 1971. We have two grown children and one beautiful granddaughter. I spend the majority of my relaxation time golfing and participating in my church activities.

I have always made supporting and informing my patients top priorities, and this site is now a continuation of those goals. I hope that this website will serve you and us, as we grow within the ever-expanding field of medical technology. As always, we appreciate your input, and we look forward to our continued partnership in health.

Jeffrey M. Shadle, MD

As the newest physician at West Plano Family Medicine I want to take a moment to tell you about myself and my practice philosophy. I look forward to a successful health partnership with you and the opportunity to provide you with excellent care.

My expertise encompasses comprehensive family healthcare, women's health issues, aesthetics, and sports medicine. I am a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and am board certified in Family Medicine. Additional training includes a BS in Pharmacy and a Masters in Health Care Administration. As a physican and pharmacist I use a comprehensive approach to patient care. I understand the balance necessary to give patients a strong sense of security and encourage them to actively participate in health maintenance and prevention. Healthy is a way of life.

I enjoy spending time at home with my daughter, Lauren and also participating in recreational activities including bicycling, diving, snowskiing, and traveling.

Anita Moghe

As a Physician’s Assistant, my role is to provide patient care at West Plano Family Medicine. I am a licensed professional who performs services that include well woman and physical exams, skin biopsies, laceration repairs and the ordering and interpretation of diagnostic tests. I also prescribe medications and order therapeutic and preventative healthcare services. All this is done under the supervision of our physicians. I believe in providing quality healthcare and enjoy educating our patients regarding their physical conditions. In addition, it is rewarding to oversee our patient’s ongoing preventative healthcare maintenance programs.

I am a graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and have practiced as a Physicians’ Assistant in Plano, Texas for the past seven years. I currently serve as President of the North Texas Physicians’ Assistant Association, Dallas chapter. I live in Plano with my husband of 20 years, Dhawal, and have two children, Sonia and Ravi. I speak multiple languages, am involved with local community activities and in my leisure time, enjoy travel, interior decorating and spending time with my family and friends.
